The campground\\\'s Piao, owned by the Clube de Campismo e Caravanismo da Covilhã has its genesis in the concept of camping in a natural environment and providing quality service to all who want to enjoy the fullest contact with the nature .

Being inserted in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, this park, is located on the national road connecting the city of Covilhã to the highest point of continental Portugal, the Tower, about 4 and 10 km respectively.

Apart from the areas for tents, caravans and trailers, we have still two bungallows and two Mobile Homes typology, T1, T2 and T2 +1, equipped to provide all the facilities to be fully in line with the natural environment that this location offers.

This park also provides services such as: bar, pool, lounge, games room and Internet access service, beyond the normal services of Camping as hot water, electricity among others.

With this Campground as a base here will focus your discovery of a vast and rich heritage, from the natural heritage of this beautiful protected area for its location provides a real showcase for the different mountain habitats existing on the peninsula, to the fascinating cultural heritage and history of a large set of issues unique as transhumance, the story of wool, of discovery, the old Jewish quarters among many others.

Being the region where this park fits well supplied from different services and infrastructures to support tourism, from public transport (with the train station and bus station about 4 km), restaurants and tourism activities, where you can highlight to as well as several specialized companies, the ski resort (approximately 10 km), you will find all the conditions for a unique and unforgettable stay.
