It was the route followed farmers and merchants with the wool trade. Traditionally the pilgrimage began in Cuenca (Monteagudo de las Salinas), to link in Burgos with the French Way, but today is the city of Alicante the beginning of the main route. There is another road from Valencia, which binds to the path of Lana in Monteagudo de las Salinas.

The marked routes here are indicative and are intended for campers because they are traveling by car and calculate considering the quickest route by road. If the road is going to do on foot or by bike, surely not the best route for it should follow the directions of the road marking or other means or specific maps to make way.
