It consists of 33 stages with a total distance of 839 kilometers.
Also called Camino de la Costa, runs along the Cantabrian coast, from the Basque Country to Galicia. It is as old as the French Way route. Come to Asturias can be taken two ways: Go to Oviedo and visit El Salvador to join the Primitive Way, or continue along the coast towards Galicia, drifting to Ribadeo inland to Santiago.
It is the second longest route after Route de la Plata. Historians agree that there was some of the most popular ways for its difficult terrain.
At present, each year the number of pilgrims increases by this route. The route is very scenic with fantastic beaches and steep cliffs, beautiful mountain scenery, especially when it starts in the Basque Country and Galicia and Asturias area.
The marked routes here are indicative and are intended for campers because they are traveling by car and calculate considering the quickest route by road. If the road is going to do on foot or by bike, surely not the best route for it should follow the directions of the road marking or other means or specific maps to make way.
